July 15, 2024The unit is working fine and cooling properly we will see how it works this winter.. However there is drainage from the condensate that Airco did not advise me of and there is a mud puddle near my house foundation and they did not allow for the drainage of the condensate, There was a gas leak to begin with and I had them fix that when Airco did my spring maintenance on the unit. They also did a sloppy job on the return so I am not completely happy with the install. They had to dig out under my house to add the connections to the unit so I don't know how that looks. I have not heard from Airco about the condensate problem although I contacted the salesman about it. Also I had to take out a loan of $6000 to pay for the balance of the install and the salesman and loan company assured me that I would not pay interest if I paid $300 a month in 18 months. So Far I have paid the loan in 5 months and have only one more payment of $666 to pay this month (July) then the loan will be paid off, but the loan company keeps billing me for interest on the loan. So although the Unit is working as expected well, I am not happy with Airco and the Loan company. Thank you for your interest in my rating.

If installed in San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) only: This weatherized furnace does not meet the SJVAPCD Rule 4905 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J), and thus is subject to a mitigation fee of up to $450.
