March 20, 2022I bought this EL196E Gas Furnace and an AC in September (It's been 7 months since). What a difference! We used to have an old 100K BTU, 80% efficiency and now have a 70k BTU, 96% so I was a little worried it wouldn't be enough but dang! Way better forced air, obviously much cheaper to run. The noise level is absolutely fine. If someone is saying anything different, it's probably because of the installers or loose duct work, not the furnace. Our living room is directly above it. We can certainly hear it run but it's not loud or interfering. If I'm watching tv late at night I keep the volume low, all I need to do is kick the volume up on the tv by one level and that's all you need. So happy with this product and it's a great price comparatively. Installers (Crisafuli Bros., upstate NY) did a great job.

Works well and is very quiet.
January 30, 2021I only got this a few days ago. But it is quieter that my previous furnace. Also. there is less vent popping, creaking and banging.

If installed in San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) only: This furnace does not meet the SJVAPCD Rule 4905 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J), and thus is subject to a mitigation fee of up to $450.
