Avoid the heat pump/AC combination
September 21, 2024I bought the complete system with to room units in May of 2022. The AC was fabulous all summer. In the fall it became apparent that the heat did not work well. After trying to just take the chill off in a 40 degree day, while the primary unit did warm the room, the bedroom temp went over 90 degrees. After at least 12 repair attempts including adjustments, replaced boards and units and a visit from the Lennox regional rep , it never worked. Certified letters to Lennox home offices were never answered at any level. The heat pump operation gets a zero star rating at a cost of $1,000's of dollars. Lennox never responded until my complaint went out on social media.
