During summer months, the heat pump works like an air conditioner, extracting heat from inside your home and moving it outdoors. When the weather turns cooler, the process is reversed as the unit collects heat from the air outside and transfers it inside.     Great heat Pump
    Outstanding performance out of this heat pump. We have a very comfortable home and the lowest electric bills we have ever had. It’s the first time in 40+ years we have had comfortable humidity and and comfortable temperature. The Merv 16 air filter keeps the air clean and the unit operating perfectly.

    Quiet and efficient
    This unit is remarkably quiet. In fact, if my neighbor's AC unit is running, you cannot even hear the Lennox XP20 Heat Pump running. Given that it is new, I cannot fully speak to the impact it will likely have on our electric bill. Based on our limited billing, it appears to be very efficient.

    Reduce your power bill by 40%!!
    The units are very quiet. Also my power bill went down by 40% indicating that the heat pump combined with a variable stage blower is very efficient.

    Sleeping through
    I've had my new unit for one month now. It is quiet as a whisper. I absolutely LOVE the AUTO settings so the unit will automatically switch between heating and cooling. No more getting up in the middle of the night to manually switch from cool to heat when the temperature drops below freezing after a 75 degree day (and -). The digital thermostat is easy to use. So far, this HVAC unit is well worth the money I spent to buy it and having it installed. P.S. I like the modern look of the outside ... read more unit--very futuristic in appearance.

    Dealer with Integrity; Quality Products
    The system has been operating for nearly 1 month. Flawless. The dealer; Olde Towne Heating and Air, refused to install the unit I had requested - a direct replacement 3 ton unit HP. It was oversized for the SF and ductwork. They returned the system (HP and AH), I waited just 1 additional day, and a 2ton 2 stage 16 seer system was installed. I also had the S30 T-Stats installed.     Running and noise
    Little noisy and runs a little more. But I’m getting used to it. My bedroom is only 15 feet away also. The greatest thing is that I haven’t had to buy fuel yet. The last fuel I purchased was March of 2022!!! I’m still on 40%.We just got done with 2 weeks of below 28 degrees during the day and 0 degrees at night. Waiting to see what electric bill is going to be!!!

    A no brainer with solar panels
    I live in northern Illinois and have 11kwh solar installed. This hybrid heat pump system should work well for my heat needs. On advice from an installer tech I set the crossover to 32º and so far this abnormally warm fall season, 98% of my heat has come from electric. I was also able to try the AC for a day or two and the variable speed from the furnace/airhandler was quiet and efficient. I am hoping for the best and will need a year to really know, but the Lennox pricing was competitive, the ... read more quality is already known and although the inside is noisier than the Trane it replaced, my hope is that when the outdoor temperatures stabilize the variable speed will make everything unnoticeable again.

    Hybrid Air Heat Pump
    We replaced an air conditioner with this unit and noticed it was significantly quieter. We also found replacing our old thermostat made a quantum improvement in comfort. The new device regulated temperatures much better and we could control it on our phones when away. We also received alerts. We have a hybrid system, using a gas furnace to augment when outside air temperatures fall below about 10 degrees C.     EL18PX heat pump with SLP99V Furnace
    We had a dual fuel system installed, this heat pump plus a Lennox SLP99V gas furnace and an S30 smart thermostat. The combination works very well. Very quiet, and our house has never been so comfortable. Very happy with this purchase.

    Nice Heat Pump
    Very happy with this heat pump. While I don't have specific measurements to back it up, the unit seems very efficient and is very quiet. It is not as quiet as a comparably sized Mitsubishi outdoor unit, but quieter than a nearby Carrier unit and much quieter than its predecessor. I am running it with a Honeywell IAQ thermostat as a two stage unit. It would probably be quieter and more efficient if I ran it with the Lennox communicating thermostat, however that product doesn't support my ... read more application (using radiator heat when the outdoor temp is below 40 degrees F), plus is much more expensive.

    Very happy
    We have purchased 2 of these heat pumps over the past year with the icomfort thermostat. Our electric bill has been drastically cut and we are keeping the air a little cooler and the heat a little warmer. We never had hot air blowing in the winter it was always cold, now we have nice warm air that is even. And our upstair in the hot months was never cool enough and now it is just right. The dual speed blower makes a noticeable difference in comfort. The units are very quiet. The outside units ... read more are next to our bedroom window and we do not notice them. The icomfort thermostat is great. We love that we can add our own pictures to be displayed on the thermostat. And we love to control our units from our phones.

    Great investment. Saves me every month.
    This model is not cheap but you get what you pay for. We live in FL and this unit is saving me electricity cost every month since installing it last August. Our bills used to be $444/month. As soon as it was installed our bill dropped to $230 per month in the summer. Averages about $130 in our winters. It is super quiet and very efficient.
