Furnace Upgrade
December 14, 2023We upgraded our 23 year old Lenox with the ml296uh070xv36b. Its a nice smaller unit that is a lot quieter as you ca barley hear it and we instantly noticed the heat is better to the vents in the rooms especially on the upper floors. So far we love it and look forward to a warmer home with less cost to run as well.

Compact and quiet
February 18, 2022Just had this installed yesterday, so far it is very quiet compared to our 18 year old 80% efficiency furnace. Could not even tell if it is running when it is in first stage. We got the 66, 000 btu/hr unit and it heats up the 1600+sqft house in Canada at -10C pretty good, it definitely runs a bit longer but outputs more consistent heat, will see how it does in -40C. So far happy with the furnace, hopefully it lasts a long time.

Best House Upgrade Yet
November 21, 2021When we moved in the original Lennox furnace installed from 1970 was still present. We replaced it a few years later. Only reason we had to replace was the shut off valve was seized and stuck open. It is much more compact, efficient and quiet than the original furnace. We appreciate the upgrade immensely. The M296V isn't "whisper quiet", but it's definitely quieter than the 1970 tech that was removed. We can hardly tell it's running. This winter will let us judge just how efficient the new furnace is, based on YOY natural gas comsumption. The biggest upgrade benefit was the variable speed fan, which was indespensible during the heat dome of 2021.
