This made such a difference
December 01, 2012My house after upgrading to Lenox is now more evenly heated in a much shorter run time. Amazing and toasty warm (even in southern california).

Problematic Unit
July 17, 2022Installed this heater with outdoor ac unit el16xc1 in May 2021. Immediately disliked a whistle and jet like roar on low stage ac blower. Heater blower noise is ok. The inducer motor went this year. The ac unit had to be completely replaced a month ago due to sporadic loss of refrigerant (3 house calls needed to determine problem).

This furnace does not meet the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1111 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J) and cannot be installed in the SCAQMD.
If installed in San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) only: This furnace does not meet the SJVAPCD Rule 4905 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J), and thus is subject to a mitigation fee of up to $450.
