Excellent but major issue early in its life

I purchased my LRP16 HP about 2.5 years ago. It is a combined heatpump and air conditioner mounted on my roof. It has been a great unit and very efficient for the 2.5 years. It is quiet and either cools or heats very rapidly. Lately I have noticed the unit has been running all day and would not hold the thermostat temperature during the hottest part of the day. I called the installer to come and check my unit out, and he found the coil had a pin hole and was leaking feon. The low feon was the reason the A/C was continuously running and not holding temperature. They will order and replace the coil and the fan motor which was wobbling once they get the parts from Lennon. They did fill the feon so my A/C is working better until they can repair the unit. I am sure glad I noticed the problem before my A/C stopped working all together in the hot Phoenix summer. A little disappointed that my unit only lasted 2.5 years before a major issue happened. The installer has been great so far and the extended warranty will cover all costs but $95.
