The perfect amount of quiet
To reduce operating sound levels, the XC13 uses a precision-balanced, direct-drive fan. This lets it operate at a volume as quiet as 74 dB.
Control your cooling and your humidity
Because it’s compatible with the Humiditrol® whole-home dehumidification system, the XC13 can help your indoor air feel cool and comfortable, while maintaining proper humidity levels.
"We've had it just a short time, but has worked very well, is cooling more quickly than our older unit. It is also a bit quieter, and looks good."

Disappointed
October 04, 2024Our XC13 unit lasted just a tad bit under 10 yrs. The coil went. Unfortunately warranty expired. Now we are discussing new units, skeptical to go with the same model.

- Central Air-Conditioning
Learn MoreDeveloped in the 1960s, central air conditioning or central AC is the most common type of whole-home HVAC system used in the United States today. This centralization eliminates the complications of cooling each space separately while maximizing efficiency and comfort.

Learn MoreRefrigerant is the working fluid used in air conditioners, refrigeration, and heat pump systems. It is a chemical compound that changes temperature as it transitions between liquid and gas form – cooling as it vaporizes, and heating up as it condenses. It is this property that facilitated a system’s ability to heat and cool.
