Humidity not adjustable
August 19, 2013The assumption is made from the control panel that, if you want to heat, you want to humidify and you can't adjust the humidity setting by itself. So, since our home is partially underground (like a walkout basement), in order to get the humidity down, we have to cool to about 60 degrees. Unless we do, it stays at 67% humidity. We don't really need air conditioning, just dehumidifying, which it won't do alone. And if I need just a little warmth, it pumps out humid air to about 72% humidity, which we really don't want either. If I had known its limitations, I would not have wasted my money on it.
