December 08, 2024Just had a new furnace installed in my condo which is 1,200 square feet. So far I like the sleekness and quiet running system. Doesn’t keep house warm unless I put thermostat at 75+. Also wasn’t thrilled to find out I have to buy 2 filters every month. Purchased 11/26/24. Also I lost some crawl space in utility room because vendor decided to add filter setup on side of furnace right and left side rather than thru the crawl space that was designed for filter. I called vendor to come check why furnace not keeping house warm and why the piping all around the furnace gets extremely hot when running. My last furnace didn’t do that. I am fully pleased when I have a few of my concerns addressed.

December 07, 2024This replaced a 30 year furnace that was installed a year before we bought the house in July 1995. Previous furnace died on a 20 degree evening with high winds. After experiencing electrical issue with a faulty outlet nearby, the new furnace didn't kick on the next day after installation! Needed electrician to fix the faulty outlet and restore electricity to the furnace, heating company was called to come out again with a new motherboard and transformer that were blown when power failed and furnace would not kick on. So far all is good now...hopefully

- * AFUE, or Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency, is a measure of how much usable heat is generated when natural gas is burned in the furnace. The higher the AFUE, the more heat you’ll get from your natural gas, and the less gas you’ll have to use to stay warm.
This furnace does not meet the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1111 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J) and cannot be installed in the SCAQMD.
If installed in San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) only: This furnace does not meet the SJVAPCD Rule 4905 NOx emission limit (14 ng/J), and thus is subject to a mitigation fee of up to $450.
